A new Creative Mind in SL
A good friend of mine is starting to create amazing stuff in SL.
Her first house is almost ready and looks fantastic. I'm going to start creating with her, always helps when someone teaches us ;) well, she has that patience!
A couple of pics of how the house is going to be:
It needs a couple of final details and it will be out soon.

Passion for decor in SL
There are two main things I really love in SL: one of them is fashion and the other is what I call an aquired taste - decor (furniture, housing).
I'm passionate about how creative furniture builders are! So, I decided to share with you a couple of photos of my humble home :)
Maybe soon, who knows, I'll start building myself. I love cozy spaces, feeling warm, sometimes with a touch of vintage or a touch of modern decor. It depends on my mood.
The truth is I'm never happy with my home, I change things all the time *laughs*.
But for now, this is my home.
One of the things I love about it, is space. It's not a big house, nor spectacular, but I can more without bumping into furniture. But can you believe I bought it with $L100? And it's modifiable.
With two floors, my bedroom is upstairs. For now, I try to keep it minimalist. This very cute house I bought came with furniture. I can place the several elements where I want to.
The best way to end a busy day is to sit at the balcony, feeling the last summer breeze and enjoy the most beautiful sunset.
I'll take some photos of details, later. It really inspired me to start building and working with decor.
Right now, I have it in a skybox, but soon, it will be right in front of the ocean. I love it!!

SL seen from a RL type of person
well... I don't know if I'm ok with this or not *laughs*
Some days ago, an old RL friend of mine saw my Facebook page and decided to visit me inworld. He had this cute freebie fox avatar *giggles*, typical of some noobies. It's ok, I guess lool.
That was food for thought. He just didn't understand what SL was all about. I was at a Fashion Show practice and he managed to upset everybody. Couldn't stay put for just a sec, he was like... wondering all around, walking through sofas, up and down.
He obviously spent little time actually inworld, so he was like "Don't tell me that you have rules of conduct here!!!" and I told him "well, when you are at home, RL, do you like people going into your house, non invited, and just step over your furniture?"
lol he really doesn't get it.
I do really dislike people like this in SL. But knowing him personally in RL for many years, made me look at what we call noobies in a different way.
His way of having fun inworld- he said - was going to weddings and eventually being banned and ejected...
Obviously!
Not so obvious for him though. SL is, as we all know, a metaverse world of endless possibilities. If people really don't understand the concept, they may act like this friend of mine.
"Don't tell me that you own land!!!" he told me. I didn't even bother to answer. No matter what I may tell him, he will never understand SL, unless he really spends time inworld and relates to people from another perspective.
I thought about this for quite some time. Being in SL for me is a choice that I've made conscioulsy and I do love it.
It's not a "game", I don't play pc games or web games. I never did. Except SL; I don't consider SL a game. It's a whole new concept of creativity and lifestyle.
I also don't log in SL to find myself a boyfriend or a husband. That's one of the most serious "mistakes" people do when they log in - "I'm going to have in SL the relationship I don't have in RL."
This is a mistake, serious one. If we don't really want to have drama in our SL or get involved in some emotional situations, dating in SL needs even more thought than in RL.
After all, this friend of mine has it all wrong. I guess he'll never like SL and is already one of those people who doesn't fully understand the concept.
It was funny though, for me to see an old friend of mine behave in SL with such disrespect .... it made me wonder... really.... if he is the person I thought he was.
Somehow, when we are Second Lifers, it also gives us another perspective of our RL friends and family. I realize now that my RL friend, in his essence, is exactly how he acted in SL. Not a bad person, no. He just doesn't get it, you know what I mean? ;)
